The call of the ocean wins hearts of buyers and a new sales agent this April

In a month dominated by school and public holidays, it was a pleasure to still see strong market results this April.

Ocean views always capture buyers’ hearts. We saw this again in the $1.8million sale of the wonderfully spacious three storey family home at 816 Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Coledale.

The feeling is the same when walking along O’Brien Street in Bulli, which also has a new resident at number 17 who will be looking to create a dream home from this property which offered so much renovation potential to capture magnificent ocean views.

These properties are among more than half a dozen sold this month – disproving the myth that turnover is decreasing.

Also this month, we’ve welcomed a new agent to the team, Andrew Hedley. Long-time Wollongong local, Andrew was the one who convinced Kane (all those years ago) to get into real estate.

Nearly five years later, the two join forces again at One Agency Downie & Denison-Pender, and we’re thrilled to welcome him back to the Illawarra. For more on the Kane and Andrew story, we’ll share that in next week’s post.

As for May, for those looking for ocean views, we invite you to Coledale to visit 38 Squires Crescent. Just a 230m stroll to the beach, this is a magnificent opportunity for the family or holiday home buyer seeking the iconic Coledale village lifestyle.

So too, the beautifully spacious four-bedroom home at 20B Farrell Road in Bulli sits just a walk to the patrolled beach, surf club, cafes and restaurants.

Wishing you the best for your house hunting in the month ahead.
